Since I have been researching about the Indian engineering education system for last 10 years hence I have an accurate answer to this question:
- Sastra is a fraud Tier-4 Indian engineering college and there is no concept of campus placement from such colleges, as is explained in this link.
- Since BITS(Tier-1) offers more of these facilities to their engineering students hence it should be considered as a better engineering college than DTU/NSUT/IITs(Tier-1) or IIITs/Sastra(Fraud, private, Tier-4).
- NIT-Trichy/DTU/NSUT/IITs have been categorised by me as a Tier-1 Indian engineering college, because of this logic.
- Sastra/IIITs(Fraud, private, Tier-4) would become a Tier-1 Indian engineering college if it starts offering these facilities to their engineering students.
