Is it true that the food at SRM University is bad and all the students survive on outside food outlets?

No, actually food provided in SRM University is rather good when compared to other Colleges.
The quality of the food is good, it’s just that students are kind-of fed up eating the same food over and over again. And most of the students admitted in SRM belong to a wealthy family, so they have a real hard-time compromising with the food offered.
I have a friend in NIT-Warangal, every time we talk over phone or meet at our native place he complains alot about the food offered in NIT. He says that sometimes it’s literally impossible to eat at mess. You aren’t left with any choice other than eating at canteens or foodcourts.
