Hello there! First of all nothing is really tough if you have a strong will to do so. But if you are aiming at it half heartedly, then its gonna be really tough.
I have cracked NEET 2018 with an AIR – 6944 and state rank 191 in my first attempt only. I had my CBSE 12th class board exams (scored 95%) too this year. But i managed somehow.
I am giving you some tips below, hope this helps you :
- You really dont have to sacrifice anything, all you need to be is totally focussed. Your only aim for an year (if you’re giving 2019 neet) or two years (if going for neet 2020) must be this exam only. You must not think anything else then this
- For Biology : Start reading ncerts daily. This will help in board exams too. Biology ncert book must be your bible for this exam. Daily before going to sleep read atleast a chapter from it. Whatever you’re taught at coaching is also important but until and unless you don’t prepare same thing from ncert, it will be all in vain. Practice questions also. Theory alone won’t help specially for chapters like genetics. Don’t forget to by heart the supplementary material given at the end of book. Direct questions are put up from this part.
- For physics : “focus on questions only” this what people will tell you to do. But thats not the only thing my dear, first of all strengthen all of your concepts, clear your basics. For this you need to go through theory thoroughly once atleasr. Physics ncerts have ample amount of explanations. Moreover it has all type of questions so focus on this also. This is gonna help you in AIIMS exam too.
