Absolutely NOT.
In fact, I would suggest if you don’t have a subject in the final semester, get rid of college and move out for 8th sem.
That corporate exposure will help and will give you an advantage over others if you are looking for an early switch in your career!
I did face some issues while moving out in 8th sem so I can share my experience.
I was given an offer of Marketing Intern and when I showed it to my HOD, he rejected my internship! That was silly because I and my guide had a mutual understanding but the HOD did not approve it because it was nothing relevant to SELECT school.
I asked my boss at YS to send me a new letter (with TECHNICAL INTERN ) mentioned in the offer letter, and when I showed that to my HOD, he started crying that same company was offering you the marketing position and that it is a media company and has nothing to do with Circuits.
