Is it good to take a CSE in B.tech if you don’t have that much of an interest in CS?

I think your one of my kind. Well i started my career joining in BE cs having no cs background and even with zero knowledge about programming. To say frankly i was forced to join. Initially it was like a duty for me to study for the sake of my parents who dreamt about my career as an engineer but whatever domain it is they just want me to be successful in it. After my 1st year i got someone who inspired me, who was the same like me joined this course as an option but excelled in both academic as well the co curricular activities. Something impelled me. I started with a mini project and it was a failure i had no such recognition. But the interest and the fire that catered me to achieve something good in this field. And now im in my 3rd yr. I feel now that if i had relinquished before i would haven’t achieved something that i have gained now. So what i say is if your intrested in pursuing it please go for it. If your forced to do it and If your one such luckiest ones like me you will definitely have a bright future. Computer science is like a ocean. You have lot to explore and the adventure level is at the peak. You will find yourself! Once you get into it you can never recoil!
