No,the placement journey is not hard, if you are skilled enough according to industries.
Maintain a good CGPA, practice aptitude questions, brush up your basic fundamentals about data structure, oops, SQL, problem solving skill, core skills (for Mechanical and electrical) .
Patience and luck are other factors.
This year, despite pendamic the placement is good like as always. More than 8000 offers made by the 600 companies. Around 4500 students get multiple offers.
Average package will be around 6.5 lakhs.
Regular companies like Infosys, TCS, HCL, cognizant (CTC 4lakhs) made around 4000 offers, but the catch is most of the students get the offer upgraded to dream or super dream.
Example: cognizant made 1440 offers, but only around 500 offers joined for the training programme. Other get dream or super dream.
The companies like TCS, WIPRO, CAPGEMINI , Delloitte KPMG, took student for their digital profile and there is a big chance to grab the offer, as the number of intake is good which is more than 100 and salary is also 6.5 lakh to 7 lakhs.
