Thanks for the A2A!!!
Mr Omkar Sapre has already pointed out the benefits of ARAI, So I would not waste anybody’s time reciting the same thing again. The thing which I would like to say is that VIT has very good faculty for Automotive department. They are really really good. It’s ‘okay’ to pursue Mtech from VIT if you are doing it for the ‘sake’ of ‘just doing it’. There aren’t many job opportunities after that. If you are really good at it then I’m very sure that You’ll make your way through. But, You shouldn’t rely on the college to get you placed somewhere. It’s difficult.
One more point is If you are really into patenting/publishing then, VIT is one of the best institutes in India. You’ll get a lot of opportunities through conferences and the University has very good tie-ups with other colleges to get you a competing environment. If you don’t believe me ( I wonder Why you wouldn’t, but still…for your assurance), I have the list of publication details of renowned institutes in scopus database-
