ISM Dhanbad is good in many(almost all) aspects than IIT Bhubaneswar.
Dhanbad is almost 2nd oldest college in India, had matured campus of 590 acres, Faculty is very experienced, Curriculam, Research is good, Alumni network, has great student culture and facilities are awsome.
But you wouldn’t feel any bad If you choose CSE in IIT BBS. I will tell you why
- Although faculty is not so great (Of course in any IIT, profs are horrible at teaching), Altough facilities(Labs) are comparably less (All a CS student need one good PC, High speed Internet and acess to high performance computing power, IIT Bhubaneswar has 7 CS labs all brand new, 1Gbps line, you could always use your high spec lappy or google cloud for ML and Etc). Although you won’t have a big library in size of a 3 storey building (CS student will rarely need to go to library and study books there, ofcourse all essential books are available). Although at Dhanbad is a banana, easy to peel and have the fruit and at BBS its Jack fruit, you have to sort the mess to get the fruit, but, for a passionate student who is willing to put good efforts BBS has nothing less to offer.
