NEET PG is nothing but an exam based on all that you have studied in the past college years of MBBS. so the basic sciences remains the same , the only difference being that you need to train your brain to get used to the different pattern type. start solving mcqs right from your MBBS days and you will get used to it. In the end, id say coaching is just a gimmick for most people. they make you aim for AIIMS and other central institutes while compromising the basics which are essential for NEET. Most people i know have attended coaching with NEET in mind have dropped a full another year after realising they just learn hifi stuff in the classes. My own batchmates are examples.
unless you have your basis strong , the coaching class could even end up being detrimental .
as a PG aspirant who has studied the whole year alone at home , with the aid of online forums and test series i can vouch for home study. currently awaiting results , fingers crossed !
