I am a student at Bits Pillani Dubai Campus. Answers to your questions:
- The faculty is not great, it is similar to Indian colleges. The teachers are mostly south Indians living in the middle east. They can teach the course well, but if you question them on other topics, don’t expect any answers. Getting familiar with their accent is a problem sometimes.
- It is an Indian college having an international campus. Don’t expect much exposure on campus, you have to move around and meet new people for that. Majority of the students are Indians. But since you are in Dubai, which is quite a hub for things, you can learn a lot if you move around the city, meet new people, participate at events and put in your efforts.
- Don’t really know much about the placements since I just completed my freshman year. Heard quite a few seniors crib about it though.
- You can not compare it to top institutions in India, it is a totally different environment. The comfort of living is much better than that in India, But I don’t think the Dubai campus comes close to them academics wise.
