There are very few Universities offer courses in Biotechnology. SRM University is one of them and they offer good Lab facilities, standard of education and faculties. However, the tuition fees are quite expensive. I wouldn’t advice anyone to spend lot of money on a degree! Focus on getting commercialize work experience/internship. This is because when you enter the biotechnology job market, your experience counts the most no one really cares where you got your degree. Therefore, if you have decided to do Biotechnology a wiser decision is to do B.SC Biotechnology and not spend lot of money on B.Tech. If you are very much interested in Engineering I would suggest a B.Tech in Biochemical/Chemical Engineering.
