Finish all Dr.Najeeb lectures just once on speed 1.25. Make notes from his lectures. Watch to understand. 4hrs Monday to Saturday. Should take about 3 months.(or read all Kaplan Books if you prefer reading to videos)
At the same time, do U-World randomly on Timed-tutored mode once. Save all the images and tables to the flashcard section. Read to understand. 1 block is about 1 hr, do 2 blocks/day (3-4hrs) with answer review, and read to understand. Monday to Saturday. Should take about 2 months.
Meaning by your 3rd month mark, you should have gone through U-World once and finished the lectures. Beauty of this is, you will have spaced repetition already built-in into this schedule from watching the lectures and applying the knowledge to answering U-world questions.
When you finish both. Do not watch DrNajeeb anymore. 4th month: Now read FirstAid for memorizing certain details and using their mnemonics, make notes for things you find hard to remember, and for reviewing on the day of the exam. Take NBMEs every week of this month for a predicted score. At the end of the month, take your 1st Uworld simulation test.
Month 5: Time to train for the test marathon. Reset your U-world. Take 7 blocks every other day with a 45 min rest period (just like how the exam will be), meaning you should complete 21 blocks per week. This should allow you finish U-world for the second time in under 3 weeks. The point is to understand what works for you, how to pace yourself best. This way you know when to have a bathroom break or take an aspirin or drink water or eat. It is a brain marathon. You have to take care of your brain. On the alternate days, keep reviewing failed questions and checking what you can not remember or understand with FirstAid or Kaplan. Week 4 of month 5: Take a break!!!
