If you are in a low graded NIFT campus, will you get a lower grade job placement even if you stand first in your college?

NIFT has common placement all over India. But sadly it is just for saying. Most of the companies come to three campus Delhi, Banglore, Mumbai. And all three campus’ faculties are directly involved in placement. When I heard these things I didn’t believe in the first place but when I joined campus placement I also witnessed the same. In Delhi campus even your CV was not sent inside the room where company was checking applicants. In Bangalore campus a faculty joined the interview panel just after they took interview of all candidates and the result was 5 out of 6 place were filled by Bangalore students. And all these companies have very good reputation in industry. And where companies are not that reputed they offer low package and all the low graded NIFT students have fear that in the end they may not have job so they agree with these companies. I have seen that companies negotiate with these candidates for lower amount than they are registered. So if you are from low graded NIFT make sure you are no.1 or no. 2 in your class and make a “good” relation with your faculties
