Check the programs at the schools you are interested in attending. Either could have programming as part of its curriculum. For me, when I earned my B.S. in Comp Sci at DePaul University, a fair amount of the program was C++ programming, but not exclusively. There were the usual math classes like calculus and linear algebra and digital logic circuits and other classes to fill the basics for a bachelors degree. I’d guess 20% at most was actual programming. Database and Internet programming classes were also involved.
Every program is not the same. Narrow down your choices and look to see what they demand for a bachelors in programming.
