I was in a same position as you roughly 2 years ago.
And now here I am, happy to have made the decision to join MIT.
This doesn’t mean that you’ll go through the same. Yes, the fees are the one of the major factor to look for in a college. But don’t let this factor alone weigh down the positives.
Like most people, I guess you couldn’t get into the top tier colleges and have an option to either go to good (but expensive) private colleges like MIT or settle for some local ones. And that becomes a completely different debate.
If not scholarships, you can also apply for education loans. With that though, you’ve to be pretty sure that you’ll land with a decent job after 4 years.
