MBBS is not really worth it.
If you want money, you can easily earn lot better in other fields for the amount of work you put in MBBS, MD and DM. Even after doing super specialisation, you are not guaranteed any hi-fi income. So money wise, its not worth it.
If you want to serve the society, please remember, every job has it own role in the society. No work is less important. If you do any profession with a kind and giving heart its worth a lot to the society.
Sad to say, we doctors are not respected as in the past. Lot of incidents of violence against doctors is crippling the profession.
Go for any field. Do it with your heart. Feeling yourself as a failure for not getting MBBS is foolishness. Don’t fall into that trap. Take any field and make it yours. Become an epitome in it. And don’t lose the kindness in the heart. Its what matters.
