Congratulations!
Start coding from second year itself. If you want to get job of more than 10 lpa, you have to be good in competitive coding and have to study the subjects like Data Structures and Algorithms thoroughly.
You have to compete with 2000+ CSE/IT students to get such lucrative packages. Hardly 10–30% of the students (including all branches) get more than 20 lpa and 40%(mostly from CS/IT) gets more than 10 lpa…and the average package for ECE students lie somewhere in between 6–7 lpa. You will be eligible in 80–85% of the CS/IT companies as number of companies coming are more, so almost everyone gets placed by 8th semester.
From ECE, only 10% students get such Super dream pakage. But above all skills will play a dominant role. If you have skills you can get into these product based companies offering more than 10 lpa.
So, in my batch from ECE, 2020 , mostly everyone got somewhere in between 5–8 lpa average and lowest as per I know was 3.5 lpa – 4 lpa.
