There are 5 types of categories in which one can get admission in VIT. they are namely, Category 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
The feature of such a categorical system is that with each hike in the category, the annual tuition fee (only the tuition fee ) hikes up too, with an amount of 1 lk.
Now, with your rank, you are basically eligible for all the categorical admission, but ,you fee structure and thus, the category you fall in will Completely depend the seat vacancy in each category.
