I will answer this question in the same order as the answer you are refering to.
1. The north-south divide is not a concern at all. In the beginning when no one knows each other, you tend to hang out with those who you are comfortable with, but as time passes, you get to know each other and the so called ‘north-south divide’ vanishes. I myself being a north indian have a lot of south indian friends and it is very normal and fun to hang out with them!
You get to know about some awesome south indian movies 😉
2. The clubs are active and they all are doing a pretty cool job. You need to get into a club to know what they are doing, no one can question about their work when they know nothing about it.
3. Hostels are great. You get to live a pretty independent life.
4. Saying the faculty is BS is very harsh. They are doing a good job.
