If yes then you can face problem during counseling while choosing a branch because Upes provides B.tech with specialisation.
If you selected x branch with y specialisation it may or may not be available according to your JEE or Board Merits.
Its better to give their official Entrance Exam clear it and score better mark.
So you can get your demanding branch with their specialisation.
If you are getting 83 mark in JEE mains then you can score better results in their Exam because excluding PCM Upes asked 50 questions from Current Affairs/ General Knowledge and English you can score marks using this.
