If you look at NEET pattern questions (recall based), you’ll find that medicine questions are clearly divided into
- Easy
- Hard
- Very Hard
- WTF Hard
You shouldn’t even think about WTF questions. These questions are SO hard that you can’t prepare for these. They are unlikely to affect your rank in a big way – unless you are focused on a rank in the top 100.
Attempting them gets you plenty of negatives.
Your preparation should be enough to get the easy and most of the hard questions right.
The very hard questions are the ones that decide your rank. These questions are also the ones that tests your concepts in patho, pharma and microbio along with medicine.
It’ll be better for you if you already have a hold on these three subjects by the time you start medicine – a hidden lesson behind this statement is that Medicine is much lower yield compared to the other three
