Day 1: Admission day
You may or may not attend the same with your parents (but their presence is NOT mandatory).
It goes on during the first half and second half. You’ll first fill the reporting forms (including the optional pink form which allows you to freeze your campus). Post filling it, you’ll be called for interview (which is actually just a setup for document verification and not really a question-answer session). Expect between two to four hours for this entire process (most of it is waiting time, in which you may have your breakfast/lunch at a canteen, etc.).
Day 2: Fresher Orientation day
Parents are discouraged to attend the same (but their presence is NOT a barring factor). Students are given, well, orientation about the college academics, sports, library, etc. The process takes both first half and second half.
