I have been a dedicated pampered child, good in academics till tenth. I felt engineering was the actual call for me. I joined local coaching institute, and they officially, legally fucked up my eleventh grade. Was no where close to any serious JEE aspirant. My elder cousin brother in our joint family nailed AIR 848, gets power and automation at IITD! Cool, Right?
Here begins my real testing, I changed my coaching and went out for place having best competition in my city, Ludhiana. I had this thing to make it into IITD, as whenever my elder brother came home from Delhi, he used to tell me some seriously cool college and hostel life stuff, and that used to motivate me hell a lot, You know rendezvous, tech fests, amazing hostel life, friends and all. I prepared for 15-18 hours during last four months of JEE Advanced. To be frank there was no other institute on my mind apart from IITD. So, naturally I was all into “Advanced” thing. Didn’t bothered about even Mains, no plans of BITS Pilani, AT ALL. It was like, “Dude IITD, else we take a drop.”! I gave a lot of mock exams for Advanced, Mains. Getting a decent score to nail 1.5k rank according to FIITJEE rank predictor.
