I was an introvert when I joined VIT and now after 4 years ,I am an ambivert, thanks to VIT.
I liked locking myself into my room studying or playing computer games. Joining VIT introduced me to a whole new world. VIT arranges so many workshops on so many different topics and they are conducted by experts in their fields. I attended one such workshop on automobiles just to kill some time. I was so fascinated by the subject and the presentation that I decided to be an automobile engineer. I studied the subject in depth for another 6 months and decided to join a project. We have 9 different teams each working day and night to make their car and participate in a national or international competition.
After failing in 2 attempts, I finally got selected in Team Ojas which is a formula student electric project and we participate in international competitions(went to UK in 2013, Italy in 2014 and Germany in 2015). This project taught me the importance of team work, patience and persistence. I liked to spend more of my time in workshops than in my locked room.
