Hey, So sorry I’ve taken so much time to answer to you, I’ve been busy 🙂
Alright, so.. I’m a third year CS student here at Symbiosis Institute of Techology,Pune. And to be very honest with you there is hardly any difference between IT and CS except that there is a subject difference in the 5th sem and some faculties differ. But yeah the major difference in IT and CS in our college is that there is a difference in the class “intellect” level.
(Applicable Secod Year onwards) If you get say x marks in a subject in IT and you get x marks in the same subject in CS, mind you the faculty being the same, you are bound to get a higher GPA in IT than in CS, because as they say that all the “geeks/nerds/bookworms” are in CS.
Keeping that point aside, here i speak for my batch students only as I can’t be sure of other batches, there are a lot of all rounders in my class and in IT. Sports+Scholar, Co-Curricalar Events+Scholar, Startup owners, etc are in my class, so yeah there is a crazy blend of talent which makes life amazing! 😀 😀
