BITS is an engineering college, and you are going away from the safety of you home. So, of course you will be ragged. Because the people who have been staying In Pilani for 1,2,3 years are totally different from you, somehow. For some unexplainable reason, they develop this tendency to harass people, irritate them and also harbor all kinds of sadist thoughts. Of course it would be pushing it, if you actually thought of them as anything less than serial raggers and harassers. Some of the things they make new students(i am guessing you) do are:
- Make you jump from the clock tower. ( coz that is the highest point we have on our campus, sadly)
- Take you 60 kilometers into the desert,and leave you there without water. (ofcourse there is no water and no trees because it’s a desert)
- Ask you to sit on a big, spiny cacti and then ask for your introduction. (And mind you, since it’s in Rajasthan, that is all that grows there, right!)
- Make you adopt a camel (national animal of Pilani), and keep it alive for a month, failing which you will yourself be buried with it.
