It all depends on your luck.
Mostly the company comes at VIT with handsome package of:
2 to 6 lpa for mechanical
2 to 10 lpa for electrical and communication
6 to 20 lpa for IT and CSE
and God bless civil branch(very less compared to others)
But comptetion for getting a job is fierce. There are almost 1000 aspiring students for a company that will take 2 or 3 students.
So, Everything is a matter of probability here. Even if you come in top 10 students of your batch and a company wants to take 3 students, it all comes to luck.
CSE guys need not worry, they will definitely be placed in their core company.
EEE, ECE, MECH, CIVIL : Buckle up and start studying for placements, because you are gonna have a tough time during placements if you don’t.
