It’s good you get to learn a lot since we don’t have many super specialities most of the on hand works comes to general medicine people
we used to have 4 wards one for infectious diseases and 3 each one for one unit later due to COVID only 2 wards with 30beds
same as in any central institute Pgs have hectic duties usually 36–12hr depends on patients with rounds 2–3times a day depending on the consultant on call
our hod and other consultants are very good in teaching and diagnosing
since our collage is still under development not many wards and beds since we stopped taking COVID cases many more ICUs and beds are dyeing developed
medicine Opd is hectic about 150–200 tickets are issued per day with attached echo ecg and other rooms even I used to face much difficulty in consultation when I was sick
one of the favourite part of my internship was working in medicine❤️
