Hostel life at Manipal University Jaipur is THE BEST.
The place, the people, the vibe – it is all simply amazing! I spent 1.5 years there (last semester of my course was only internship) and I don’t remember a single day I didn’t enjoy there.
Every other day there’s some fests’ or clubs’ unveiling which leads to a grand setup around the hostel. There’s beautiful lighting, lovely music, dance and drama in those unveiling.
At the end of every month, there’s a grand birthday celebration hosted by the mess facility for all the people who were born in that month. The head chef at the mess bakes a huge cake for the birthday boys and girls. The cake cutting is followed by DJ!!
All the festivals are celebrated in a home-style manner like Makar Sankranti, Lohri, Holi, Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri to name a few. Every one puts on their traditional outfits. The view is so delightful on occasions at Manipal University Jaipur that you don’t feel homesick at all. As an incentive, we get festive food at mess like pani puri, gujiya, dal baati, lassi, kulfi and what not!
