I did my undergraduate from SRM university in B.Tech biotechnology. I really found the course worth studying. SRM has very good syllabus for all the 4 years teaching various subjects ranging from basic biology to subjects of chemical engineering and bioprocess engineering.
The university also provides students with various opportunities such as Semester Abroad Programs (SEP), dual degree course and others at Warwick university and other renowned universities. If you wanna join any foreign exchange program then you must really work pretty hard and should have good score and enrol for program before hand, to avoid rush of any kind.
The university as a whole is it strict in terms of clothes you were. There are about 2 cycle tests and model exam and then annual semester exam.
