Hi , i can answer this question , as i have been a student of NSIT and worked in MindTree in bangalore , global village office on mysuru road,which is just behind the RVCE college . There i had many friends of RVCE college , who were day scholar and staying out of hostel in rented accomodation to njoy extra freedom .
It is one of the top pvt. Engineering college of Bangalore and if you can afford to take admission and dont have budget issues , you can go for it , as Campus placement is good , almost all reputed company comes there being situated in cyber city.
College campus is not as atttactive as NSUT or DTU but atmosphere is good as 30% students are from north india BIHAR and UP who do not get good college in Delhi , prefer to go here than in BIHAR or UP.
