If you have already made a decision to pursue pharmacy course at BITS, Congrats! I graduated from the program couple of years ago and feel that I can add some perspectives.
It is not the most sought after program on campus (mainly due to recruiting/placements) hence other answers are mostly negative written by students pursuing more fancy courses. However, it is much better than joining a tier-2 university in India. Even the immediate job opportunities would be better than in those places.
I agree that pharmacy is most suitable for someone looking to do research and higher studies and most students in the program are not interested in it. However, the flexibility and/or the BITS brand positions you to not only do whatever you want in life but also makes you open to new possibilities. You would interact with some of the best brains in the country and that fact alone makes it worth doing.
