The relatively older one tends to have better faculty. Top rankers choose the older campus. This makes older campuses more preferable (not that you can’t choose the new branches). Given a chouce between BITS-Pilani and BITS-Goa, one would choose BITS-Pilani, but if you can get a better branch in BITS-Goa, you would choose BITS-Goa. Hope this answers your question.
