Most of the answers here are from B.Tech students. I’ll give you an insight as a non-B.Tech.
I am pursuing B. Com (Hons) with ACCA here and currently in the second year. I chose MUJ because of the 9 paper exemption of ACCA. Manipal Jaipur is only one of the two unis in India to offer B. Com (Hons) with 9 paper exemption of ACCA, the other being Christ University, Bangalore. Even the main or Sikkim campuses don’t have this facility. There are 13 papers of ACCA in total, of which 9 are embedded in our course. The main Manipal only has B. Com (Prof) wth 6 paper exemption. The fees for non-B. Tech courses are extremely less, for example, B. Com (Hons) costs only 10% of B.Tech fees.
The commerce faculty and crowd is extremely good here. My classmates are from pan-India and Middle-East. Our professors are also very helpful and have great knowledge and help us with things related to research, practical projects, and more. We have workshops and seminars from renowned entrepreneurs, academicians, researchers, and also ACCA and ISDC officials. There’s also a ton of semester exchange/summer schools/winter school opportunities with both Manipal campuses in India and abroad and also foreign universities.
Coming to MUJ, what I’ve seen in one year is that the crowd is mixed
