Hi. If you’re planning to join Manipal University Jaipur, I should warn you right here – It is not a good University. It’s a good University if your parents have money and you will join the family business after your studies. In short it’s a University which will give you a degree irrespective of you engineering aptitude and no attempt will be made to develop your knowledge and aptitude.
The faculties are dumb and even you can teach them if you study the subject for 2 weeks. I would say that atleast 75% faculty is not upto the mark. Rest are average.
Placements are nill. Don’t be fooled by their 100 % placement advertisement. It’s a scam. Anyone who is not placed is added to list of students who did not opt for placement. That is ridiculous. 95% of my batch mates are unemployed right now even after 2 years of graduation. 5% got jobs on their own. I should warn you that except CS and IT, no dept had proper placement opportunities.
Placement cell is dubious. They do nothing. They couldn’t invite a single core company from Civil, Mechanical, Automobile, Mechatronics, Electrical. They made us fill the placement form 5 times and couldn’t invite 5 companies in total to campus.
