How is aerospace engineering at IIT, Madras and Bombay?

I know about IIT Madras, Aerospace here has nearly 50+ members and there is a huge competition in them for branch change. Interns takes place in 2nd year. The Department selects top cg students to intern at DRDO .They select nearly 15–20 students. The rest students have to try their own interns. In 3rd year it sends the 10 students out of rest students . If u r core aspire u have struggle a bit for placement u need to have high cg >8.5 for good placement in Aerospace.
