When u go through the website of upes, u will feel that UPES is better than Harvard.
But the truth is completely different.
I have been a student of UPES PhD part-time management oil&gas for the last 2.5 years.
University Administration: Very arrogant and rude. 5 semesters are over for me but still the name of main guide is not given to me. And they give an ignorant reply to my emails in this regard. I think even goverment employees have some level of fear of the system. But UPES administration doesn’t give a damm to it’s Director or chancellor.
Faculty: Almost 95% of the oil and gas faculty has never seen a refinery or oil facility. And they are PhD in Oil & Gas. That’s ok but most of them are full of arrogance. They behave like a Master sahab of a village primary school.
The faculty will always try to prove that u don’t know anything and the topic of your choice is just waste. Because they have never worked in any oil&gas facility in their lives.
And the better part is they will try to convince u about a topic which has become 15 years old in the real industry , as if they have just now invented a brand new topic.
