According to me, you have to time it properly. Plan so that you can complete 3–4 revisions of Dental Pulse 2–3 months before your NEET PG exam.
Now how do you have to go about these readings?
- 1st reading: Solve all MCQs and encircle the Q numbers of the ones that you couldn’t answer. No other markings to be made on the book. Make a list of the topics you need to revise before going for round 2. I used to read the topics and finish it off before going ahead to the next subject. But in brief! Remember the more you revise your MCQs the better you will get. 60% of the Qs asked are repeated from previous year Qs.
- 2nd reading: This has to be after you have gone through the topics that you were not confident about in the first round. So ideally in this reading you should be able to answer more and your confidence level should go higher. Don’t worry if you can’t answer all Qs. You have another round left.
- 3rd reading: This is final reading wherein you have to pay more attention to where you are making mistakes and also mug up the numerical values asked directly in the Qs. These are direct Qs and is a straight +4 if you get them right.
