The book published by grb publication is good enough to prepare organic chemistry..at first you need to understand the concepts with through practice and by noting the important name reactions with there mechanism,and examples. Some exceptions are also be noted.e.g reaction of silver salt of fatty acids with Br2/CCl4 and with I2/CCl4.after doing that go to practice the already solved Problems and solutions in op tandon s book.then go to solve the questions given.the book has covered almost all important reactions with updated concepts.once you are able to answer them then you can think you are done.note that organic chemistry is well understood if you practice it regularly.
