How do I prepare for NEET after grade 10?

Okay here it goes. You’re entering the 10th standard and aiming for pre medical examinations. I’ll elucidate few points for you.

  1. Don’t neglect mathematics in class 10th. Your predetermined approach for the biology stream doesn’t means you must neglect Mathematics this year. It will pay off later. Negligence of Mathematics from class 10th itself can cause impediment in approach to physics in 11th and 12th.
  2. Develop the habit of sitting for hours of study. In class 11th and 12th, many times you’d be required to sit for hours on end and devote yourself to heavy topics. It’s better if you already put that into habit. The sooner the better.
  3. Don’t neglect Boards either. Boards marks doesn’t matter in the later years of life, but it makes you realise what kind of competition you’re gonna face from the next year. Because boards is ultimately a national level exam. Also if you score good it’s gonna give you a propulsive morale boost.
  4. Practice numericals of physics and chemistry(science) given in your 10th textbook. Solve them, understand the basic concepts. And don’t use calculator.
  5. Lastly, live this last year of independence. It won’t come back. There’s no need to worry about what is going to happen in the next two years. Enjoy your friend circle, attend all functions etc. You won’t get time for all that later.
  6. And yes, another point- Don’t get spoilt. 🙏🙏

Good luck. 😉
