I will tell you from my experience and observing path of others. I got 6 off-campus offers full time or internsip or full time + internship during 4th year of my graduation:
- Goibibo – SDE
- Traveloka – SDET (came to know about the role only after the interviews)
- Grab – SDE
- Amazon – SDE
- D. E. Shaw & Co. – SDE
- Goldman Sachs – SDE
I took 1 on-campus offer also as a backup.
- ThoughtWorks – Application Engineer
Right from the beginning of third year I had just one aim to get a good off-campus offer since I knew that very few good product based companies came to my campus. And half of those don’t give SDE role in my campus. I prefered toiling and sacrificing my CGPA (since its only helpful in campus placements) over settling for anything less than my goal.
