I lived in M1111 in the year 2015–16. Overall, I had a pretty good time in M Block. Since it is one of the more recently constructed hostel blocks, it provides a much better experience than most other blocks in VIT.
The rooms are generally spacious. 3 bed AC rooms were the best IMO. All the amenities generally available in VIT hostels were present here too.
Probably the most unique and amazing things about this block are the balconies in 6th and 9th floors. We had a great time together here.
Currently, this block is being renovated, They have installed centralized air conditioning in the entire block (a really welcome move by VIT since it can get horribly hot at times). This, however, has spoiled the look of the block a little, but that’s a worthy tradeoff.
