Even though I am not getting the topmost medical colleges of the country but yeah, I do have some decent options (score 642 and rank 5421).
So coming to the duration of my preparation, I effectively prepared for about 6β7 months for NEET. I hadn’t put any significant thought in taking this test in class 11, I was busy adjusting to the new surroundings and enjoying hostel lifeπ which reflected in my final exam result. In class 12th I had made up my mind for NEET but my father asked me to just focus on the boards for the time being. It was actually the break that we got before the preboards when I started revising class 11th ( sab gayab ho chuka thha literally π, couldn’t believe I had studied it before). So I did this for about 2 weeks.
After the boards
Now after a day’s break began the frantic preparation. There wasn’t any news of postponement by then. I had joined a local coaching for just physics. I began by reading Biology from the NCERT and physics was taken care of in the classes. By now we had gotten the news of postponement ( proved to be a boon). Now I actually made a plan.
Biology β I set weekly goals. Every chapter, NCERT + ALLEN modules (DLP) for theory and then about 100β200 questions of each chapter as I finished the theory from NCERT fingertips and prev year questions ( past 20 years). I even made a diary where wrote down the out-of-the-ncert facts.
