Does the BMSCE offer lateral entry (through diploma) for CSE? If so, then how many lateral entry seats are available for CSE?

Yes BMSCE offers lateral entry through diploma. If you are a student from Karnataka then you can attend CET conducted for the diploma candidates and once the results are declared, based on your rank and requirements you could choose a college among many colleges in Karnataka. BMSCE have two sections of around approximately 100 students strength in computer science branch. I am not sure what’s the quota given for Diploma candidates now but when I joined(2013) we were 10 people ( I myself I am from diploma ).
