First of all I should make it clear that RVCE mess is totally vegetarian
For 1st year there is only one mess known as Cauvery mess ( Mostly South Indian Meal you will get here). If you are North Indian then you will find rasam for the first time. First of all if you are new comers then please don’t confuse with curd rice and kheer. :p
Anyhow the food is okay(hygienic).
From 2nd Year onwards you would find two mess. You may Join North Indian mess(MV Mess) or South Indian mess(DJ Mess). You would find the food is little better here then 1st year(Cauvery mess).
Things that are similar in all mess of RV
- You will get Ice cream 2–3 times in a week.
- You will get month end fest in last day of the month. Everyone will be waiting for that day. It’s the day when everyone comes to mess.
