Maybe or Maynot be. It is Totally depends on you. However if you want to go for computer science then it is obvious that you are going to a right hand. Knowledge is the power. If you are so dedicated about study then a college or an university is not necessary. Books are the Game. Play the game. If there is something you do not understand stackexchange or stack overflow help you out. Work on projects. Do as much as research you can. On the either hand SMU is better than others. Go for it but keep in mind that no can change anyone except the one.
