Do the forced on students in the first semester get placed in BITS Pilani?

I think you have an assumption here that obviously high CGPA students will get placed in first semester . which may not be true in some scenarios. I remember one of my senior who is having a CGPA of 8 point something didn’t get placed in first semester . And i have friends who are 5 pointers and 4 pointers who got placed in reputed companies . After all its just simple probability . I am not very clear with your comment though may be the answe
