L&T comes over to take Mechanical and Civil guys at around 6 LPA. Dell visits with similar packages. TCS, CapGemini are the major recruiters with packages around the 3.5LPA. Wells Fargo comes in with 5 LPA. By the end of the placement drives, the eligible ones, even the ones with a few backlogs, manage to get placed. A few opt out of the placements to pursue higher degrees too.
