Well, when I was in this dilemma, I chose to go to Manipal Jaipur, and all I can say is, so far, it’s been the best decision I have ever made.
The campus itself is very amazing as well as the hostel life. Academically we’re always learning something new, doing something new, and progressing ahead everyday. Our college focuses on developing it’s courses, by asking the students for reviews as well as the companies where their students have been hired, and so this way, we’re close to perfecting our curriculum.
We’re a relatively new college, but still our growth has been exponential and it will keep growing in the coming years.
Our faculty is a mixture of young as well as old and they’re very modern in their approach. So, we get the opportunity to work on research papers and projects with the faculty and also have various workshops, seminars and conferences which are conducted within our college to promote start ups, and educate students about patents, IoT, Blockchain, Cyber-security etc.
When I was researching about colleges, the one thing I thought about the most, was the student to teacher ratio.
And when a college like VIT takes in 20000–30000 students every year, and students with 40000–50000 rank get branches like CSE IT etc it’s just unfair to the rest of the students. The sheer number of students is so much that thinking about the involvement of the faculty with the students and the placement opportunities, Manipal Jaipur would be a better option any day. Since, entry into the Manipal Colleges are solely based on your performance in the entrance tests and there aren’t any reservations, therefore due to less number of students, the opportunities you get are far more than what you would get in any other college.
And, above all of this, before I knew much about Manipal Jaipur, one of the biggest reasons
