Yes. There are lot of opportunities for computer science graduates. Now a days it is very easy to get job if you are from CS background. Most of the Companies which visits during campus placements will be software domain related. If you are studying in a reputed college and have good technical skills then you will land a job in big tech company and if you are from non reputed college, you need to show your skills with open source contribution or building an app or well versed with web development or some other field. Even if you get bored with technical you will always have the choice of management careers. Ofcourse MBA may be required.
Let me tell about my own experience. I finished by engineering with E&E. I have struggled to get job. There was not much oppurtunity. I got more interview calls for Software jobs but couldn’t clear as i was from E & E. Later i joined Mtech in information technology and now i am working for Nokia networks.
So pursue Engineering in CS. I wish you good luck.
